We serve female, femme, trans, and gender-nonconforming progressives running for office in the United States. In particular, we serve candidates in local races (such as school boards and city councils), and take particular joy in helping women run in primaries.
If you’re wondering if Project Sheila is the right fit for your campaign, get in touch and we can talk it through. This is all about sisterhood.
We can produce your logo and associated graphics for you to use on your website, social media properties, and printed literature.
We work with you to sketch out a website that captures the unique spirit of you and your campaign. We ensure that your website is structured to inform, inspire, and motivate voters.
Once your site is designed, our consultants will get to work building it. We’ll integrate tools that build your email list and collect donations and thoroughly test the site before it goes public.
Your website is the most important piece of campaign lit you’ll write. At any stage of your campaign, we’re available to jump in and review your site for messaging, clarity, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Once your website is built, we can either hand it over to your campaign’s staff or volunteers, or help with ongoing maintenance. We can make sure that your site’s functions continue to work, and all site content is up to date and working for you.
We’re available to train your staff and volunteers on website maintenance and digital campaigning. If we have someone in your area we can do this in person, otherwise we’ll train your team remotely.
We charge on a sliding scale, with fees ranging from $0 to around $800 per project. Budgets are based on a number of factors, including:
- Your campaign’s resources
- What level of office you’re running for
- The size of the project and how many services you need
We recruit passionate feminists who are experienced in website production. We strive to help these professionals build their client base and earn an income that supports their dreams. Consultants keep 85% of what they bill, with just 15% going towards keeping Project Sheila running. Every part of our business aims to lift up women.
